The Story
Good cleaning is hard to find. Good cleaning work is harder.
Scrubly started with a frustration shared by two people at the same dinner table: one who couldn't find a cleaner they trusted, and one who had been cleaning professionally for six years and was still being underpaid and undervalued.
We spent a year speaking to cleaners across the UK — in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol. We asked them what made work sustainable, what made customers difficult, what platforms had got wrong. We listened more than we talked.
The result is Scrubly: a marketplace built with both sides in mind. Customers get bespoke cleans with transparent pricing and vetted professionals. Cleaners get fair pay, full insurance, consistent bookings, and a team that actually picks up the phone.
We're not the biggest cleaning platform. We intend to be the best one.
