Booking & Services

How do I book a clean?+
Use our online booking wizard at scrubly.co.uk/book. Select your service type, enter your address, choose a date and time, customise the clean, and pay securely. You'll get an instant confirmation by email.
What services does Scrubly offer?+
We offer four main services: Standard Cleaning (regular home maintenance), Deep Cleaning (thorough top-to-bottom clean), End of Tenancy Cleaning (letting-agent standard), and After Builders Cleaning (post-renovation specialist clean).
Can I customise my clean?+
Yes — that's the point of Scrubly. You can specify room counts, add extras like oven cleaning, laundry, or fridge cleaning, and leave detailed notes for your cleaner. Every clean is tailored to your home.
How far in advance do I need to book?+
We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, though same-day and next-day bookings are often available depending on your area. Availability is shown in real time during the booking process.
Do you serve my area?+
Scrubly currently operates across major UK cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, and Sheffield. Enter your postcode in the booking form to check availability.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing calculated?+
Prices are based on your property size (number of bedrooms and bathrooms), service type, and any add-ons you select. You see the full fixed price before confirming — no hourly billing, no surprises.
Do prices include VAT?+
Yes. All prices shown include VAT. There are no additional charges added at checkout beyond what you see when booking.
How do I pay?+
Payment is taken securely at the time of booking via card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or Apple/Google Pay. Your card is only charged once the booking is confirmed.
Are there discounts for regular bookings?+
Yes. Weekly recurring bookings receive 15% off every visit. Fortnightly bookings receive 10% off. Discounts are applied automatically — no voucher needed.
Can I tip my cleaner?+
Absolutely. You can add a tip when leaving a review after your clean. 100% of tips go directly to your cleaner.

Cancellations & Changes

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?+
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled clean via your dashboard. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the booking value.
What if I need to change the scope of my clean?+
Contact our support team or update your booking via the dashboard before the clean begins. Changes on the day should be discussed directly with your cleaner.
What happens if my cleaner cancels?+
In the rare event a cleaner cancels, we'll notify you immediately and offer a replacement or a full refund. We aim to find a replacement within 2 hours.

Our Cleaners

How are cleaners vetted?+
Every Scrubly cleaner undergoes identity verification, a DBS (criminal record) check, reference checks, and a practical assessment. We only approve cleaners who meet our standards.
Will I get the same cleaner each time?+
Yes, for recurring bookings we always try to send the same cleaner. You can mark a favourite cleaner in your account and request them directly.
Are cleaners insured?+
Yes. All Scrubly cleaners are covered by public liability insurance for every job completed through the platform.
What if I'm unhappy with the clean?+
Contact us within 24 hours of your clean and we'll arrange a complimentary re-clean. We stand behind every booking with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Your Account

Do I need an account to book?+
You need an account to complete a booking so we can store your preferences and booking history. It takes under a minute to create one.
How do I view or manage my bookings?+
Log in to your dashboard at scrubly.co.uk/dashboard. You can view upcoming cleans, manage recurring bookings, download invoices, and contact your cleaner.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and comply with UK GDPR. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
